I will be straight to the point, blogging can be a real pain at times. I mean as a business owner who has the time to think of ideas, write up content, edit it, market etc… its long and can seem pointless.

But, and a big butt, I want you to understand the benefits it can produce for your business, and the long term goals it can have.

Firstly, when you are trying to attract customers through normal means of paid advertising, the value, trust and relationship that you build is limited, ad you are always selling, selling, selling, and as soon as you stop advertising customers stop coming in, unless you get referals.

Most of the successful business and ventures out there lead with value. This builds a continuous bond and trust with your audience.

I mean you don’t buy after seeing the ad, so why would your customers.

If you are in business for the long run you should if not must start a blog and produce quality content for your niche, and yes every niche can have good content, even a towing company.

Some people have 7 layers, 5, I like to keep it simple, 3 layers.

This is where your blog should thrive, blog does not only mean archives, it can also be videos, infographics, audios etc…

When I am researching about content marketing, I always come across, Neil, Digital marketer, content marketing institute, Pat Flyn. Etc… I’ve seen them for years , and I have bought many of their products over the years, why because I trust what they say and am confident in what they deliver. This is from a customers point of view.

Now lets look at from the business point of view. They took time to write the blog posts, or make ideas once, and now they are developing more products, growing and scaling increasing in revenue and have not got a worry in the world where their next customers will come from. They don’t even know me, but I know them. That’s called an authorised business, the power of a blog, and here why content is KING!

So let me outline some of the benefits.

1 Traffic:

A high quality blog post etc… are all built for the consumer, the searcher. They are not built to slow ads. If they don’t show quality contact they will lose their customers. Hence when you produce quality content its in their interest to show your contact to the relevant people, obviously you must make sure you do the SEO aspect properly.

2 Social Shares:

People love good content . When they get it; they love sharing it with others. This increases social shares and in return increases traffic, see rankings and potential customers to you.

3 Authority:

When you produce quality content regularly people (potential customers) regard you as an authority in the field. Your opinions are taken note and you because an authority figure’ This builds trust and creates a relationship with a network of potential customers.

4 Lead Magnet

Many marketers consider only squeeze pages as lead magnets , however they forget that quality content serves the good attracting people and converting those into leads for your sale funnels. Some of the top newsletters know the value of this and treat it as an integral part if their customer acquisition strategy.

5 Customers:

Dependent on what your products and services are, quality content will ask as a sale funnel if they have been following you for sometime and know you are an authority they will not hesitate to buy immediately.

As I mentioned before quality content can serve multiple benefits, and can provide a solid ROI in the long run. People don’t like being sold to until they are educated, in formed and have built trust for you and your brand.

Producing quality content consistently can be tough, this is why we provide the services as complete sections. If you run a business do not undermine the benefits of content, after all Content is King!
